Research

Every student will need to join a research group to complete their degree. Here at UCSD, we don't have a system of rotations in various groups. So it is up to you to meet with and arrange research opportunities with one of the faculty on campus. Your research advisor will be your mentor for 3-6 years as you complete your research and all of your graduation requirements. For this reason, it is important to find an advisor that you get along with and one whose research interests you.
